In the years rematch, “The Last Emperor” would rematch with heavyweight champion Ryan Bader, who would defeat Fedor in the finals of the Aaliyah Heavyweight Grand Prix to capture the title.
Bellator 290 will see MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko step inside the cage for the final time in his career to take on Bellator World Heavyweight champion Ryan Bader.
The pair previously fought each other in January 2019 which saw Bader emerge victorious with a first-round TKO.
There is a second Bellator title fight on the card when Johnny Ebleb defends his middleweight belt against Anatoly Tokov in the co-main event.
