Kyle Busch, who competes part-time in the trucks, won two weeks ago in Las Vegas but is not in the field in Atlanta. Smith finished second, with Rhodes, Heim and Majeski making up the top five.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is a 1.54-mile quad oval with the 135-lap race covering almost 208 miles to create the rhyming name for the event. The race’s three stages cover 45 laps each.

Heim won last year by 0.173 seconds over Rhodes after leading for 22 laps and reclaiming the lead on the final one.

Fr8 208 is better known as “Fr8Aucktions 208”. This is an Atlanta based professional pickup truck racing event, founded in 2004. The contest is sponsored by Fr8Auctions and is currently running under NASCAR’s annual Camping World Truck Series

The 2023 Fr8 208 Truck Series race is officially named as the “NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race at Atlanta”. As the name suggests, the event is scheduled to take place this Saturday at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Georgia.
