Deontay Wilder confirmed his return to the ring. Deontay Wilder didn’t say anything about his return to the ring for a long time. Wilder vs Fury trilogy bout was the most talked-about clash in the whole boxing zone. For the past few years, it has been the headline of every news portal. It was the most renounce fight of the year. After losing the bout, Wilder didn’t come in front of the media much. He didn’t even talk about his bout.

On the other hand, Fury took hard preparation for his bout with Dillian Whyte. He faced Whyte after a few months later of defeating Wilder. Everyone thought Fury’s days would finally end when he met Whyte. But Fury managed to beat Whyte in round six. After the fight, Whyte claimed that Fury won the bout by an illegal move.

On Tuesday, Wilder appeared in a presentation show held in his honor in his hometown. He unveiled his statue there and talked about his return to the ring. Wilder looks pretty optimistic about joining the ring again.

Wilder says, “I’m looking to resume my career for sure. I’ve got a lot of other things to get out of the way to come back.”

He talked about his children, saying, “‘I’m taking away from my children if I come back because now I can enjoy my life fully like I want to.

I sacrificed so much to be in this position in my life, to be able to life my life like I want for the rest of my life.”

The 36-year-old American added: ‘I’ve been highly requested for return. So many people have told me to Come back, come back.’ I’d say I’m back by popular demand.

And the business of boxing needs me for sure. There’s nothing like it when there’s a thriving American champion.”

Who will face Deontay Wilder?

Wilder’s last step into the ring last year was in 2021 against Tyson Fury. He didn’t fight anyone else for the previous three years except Fury. From 2019 to 2021, he faced Fury three times. Unfortunately, since 2019 the American boxer didn’t see the face victory for at least one time.

However, the fantastic thing is Wilder is still ranked world number two in the WBC ranking. Nobody still got the ability to overcome the great boxer.

Everyone is asking about who will be their next opponent Wilder. Well, Wilder doesn’t have any plan yet. And, nothing can be told for sure as Wilder just published his will to return to the ring.
